Gas No More
Division of Labor brought us on board to develop a robust, user-friendly website to educate and guide California residents on everything they need to know about getting an electric vehicle.
Built on a Drupal content management system (CMS), the site was designed to handle information efficiently. This ensures visitors can easily navigate various information, including incentives, charging options, vehicle comparisons, and policy updates. By leveraging the flexibility of Drupal, we developed an interactive platform that facilitates smooth content management and supports future growth.
Car for One, Electric for All
One of the most complex and rewarding challenges in developing this site was creating the “Which Car is Right for You?” page—an advanced electric vehicle search and comparison tool. This search feature dynamically pulls real-time data from the Zappyride database to provide users with tailored recommendations. As a result, it delivers personalized insights on every available incentive for every electric vehicle on the market.
To bring this to life, I architected the entire system from the ground up, leveraging PHP, cURL, jQuery, and an extensive suite of JavaScript functions to ensure a seamless and interactive experience. From structuring the data flow to fine-tuning performance, every aspect of this search engine was carefully designed and built by me to offer users a fast, accurate, and intuitive way to compare electric vehicle options.

En Español
As part of Veloz’s initiative to create a more inclusive and accessible platform, they requested a language toggle feature allowing users to switch between English and Spanish at any time seamlessly.
I integrated Drupal’s API to dynamically serve fully translated content based on the user’s selection to accomplish this. This implementation ensures an experience where visitors can transition between languages without disrupting navigation or functionality.
